What brings me pleasure is not necessarily what brings you yours—in your home, on your body, out there in the world. It’s what I loved about New York Times fashion-man-on-the-street Bill Cunningham. Oh, how I do miss that eclectic eye. Through it I came to know him—no, not literally, but, trust me, I knew him. Bill honored our vision of who we are. I may not be the plaids and flannel person but you may be, and one of the most significant actions we can take while we’re here is to know, and accept, ourselves—and others.
