  • SPEAKING 7/12/25 at a Summer Salon (2 to 5 pm) fundraiser and celebration for the Belfast Poetry Festival, cofounded by Troy Casa and me 20 years ago and kept alive by the community and its poets laureate. Refreshments, readings, live music, and more. At a private residence in Northport. Check out the website for more info and tickets. Come hang out, have fun, and support the longest-running nonacademic literary festival in the state, and one of only a few community-run in the country.

  • OPENING RECEPTION 9/6/25 @ 5 to 7 pm: My first solo ART show. At Anodyne Book Shop, Searsport, ME. New works, titled through a long poem, “her.story,” which I may or may not read that night. All work is for sale, with the intention that it does what it’s intended to do in the world once it lives with other humans, a transference of energy and reinterpretation. Almost everything I make in this physical way is mixed media. Anything could be material. The exhibit runs through September. Fab refreshments!
