No idea how many of us will show up but we’ve been allotted 30 seconds each. Now that’s a feat: to read 30 seconds from an essay (some are poems but not mine) that captures the energy or even means something. I am obsessed with following these types of writerly reading rules. No rules in the words. Come join us. None of us are happy this book was necessary, that the work rose up, but I am grateful to have mine included with so many fabulous word/image makers.
